Christmas is almost here, bells are almost ringing, the ginger-breads are almost in the oven.. Christmas is my favorite time of the year (as I imagine yours too),not just because of the lights, decorations, celebrations but also because everyone is able to offer and to receive love to and by his/her loved ones. Combined to the idea of Santa, Christmas withholds the idea of offering love through gifts.. Well, gifting is not always simple, not when you really want to stand out. It’s true that what matters most is the gesture but this doesn’t mean that we don’t have to put some thought in it and personalize every gift we’re offering. So, in order to help you make some choices, I picked my favorite items that could be offered for Christmas from my favorite on-line shops: not expensive, interesting and original, I believe they can make you make the difference without costing you a fortune. Plus, you can do everything from the comfort of your couch!
Gifts for friends and family:
In this category, of course, you can play it safer, but not too much. Christmas sweaters are always the cutest family gifts, a book is a nice idea (if you want to be more original this time, consider buying a photography or fashion book, a theme book what-so-ever., depending on the person’s interests). Another safe but always welcome kind of gift is the beauty sets, and it doesn’t need a lot of thought. In general, I would advise you to limit your choices to something that can always fit the other person (if you’re not sure about his/her measures that is), no one wants his gift to be returned! Here you can find some of the gifts I believe everyone would appreciate:FOX KNITTED SCARF, ERMINE FRENCH SLIPPERS, AZTEC FAIRISLE SNOOD, POPPY PRINT TRIANGLE BRA AND MINI, REINDEER TEE AND SHORTS PJ SET, GINGER BREAD MAN PJ SET, KNITTED XMAS ROBIN JUMPER, KNITTED XMAS POLAR BEAR JUMPER, TRADITIONAL FAIRISLE HAT
Mirrored Jewel Drop Earrings, Roller Hat, Pieces Edrea Cross Body Bag, Suede Studded Shopper, Rhinestone Drape Collar, Suede and Knit Long Gloves, Triangle Earrings, Warehouse Colour Block Satchel, Acid Wash Trim Backpack, ASOS Mix Ribbon Knit Scarf, ASOS Neon Mix Knit Cable Scarf.
Gifts for your fashionista friend: Ok, here, I’m sure you realize that every detail matters! You should chose your gift, having in mind first her style and then the latest trends of the season (or the next season). In my opinion, you should focus on accessories (they’re never enough), statement earrings, necklaces, etc. Here are some suggestions:
ASOS Premium Flocked Gem Stone Necklace, Lulu Guinness Pouch Bag, ASOS Midnight Bug Necklace, Alice Hannah for Topshop Embellished Headband, Helene Berman Woven paper trilby, Green Leather Bag, ASOS Jewelled Triangle Earrings, Cameo Deco Clamp Bracelet, IPhone printed shell, Beaded collar, Leopard fedora, Orange statement Earrings
Gifts for your girlfriend: The principle is one: Classy and all-time classic pieces. By that we don’t mean that you should buy something old-school, but rather something that she could wear for years and think of you. A piece of jewelry is always something widely appreciated, so if I were you I’d opt for something like this. Another wonderful choice for most girls is a new lingerie set. In that case, make sure you combine both your and her taste! It would be nice to consider searching in some online outlet shops, in order to have better quality with less money that usual. Start by www.theoutnet.com. You can find some examples here:Lily and Lionel printed scarf, Black crystal earrings, Contrast Lace Strapless Lingerie Set, Juicy Couture charm bracelet, Giles& Brother Silver Necklace, Susan Caplan Exclusive For ASOS Vintage 80s Tassel Earrings, MADE star gold-tone necklace, Caged Mesh Underwire Lingerie Set, Beaded Soft Clutch, ASOS Quilted Metal Corner Across Body Bag, Juicy Couture wallet
Gifts for your boyfriend: We couldn’t leave you girls without some hints on what to buy for your other half! We’ve all been there, trying to pick something for a guy can be really frustrating (most of the times you don’t even know where to go shopping). It’s simple, boys are gadget-maniacs, so if you don’t come up with any original idea, a tech- in-fashion item works more than fine. Other than that, a watch is always a chic choice, a theme-book, a wallet. The cutest choice for us remains the Christmas sweater (or cardigan), but many guys don’t really appreciate cute, so it’s not highly suggested unless you know him well. You can find some ideas below:Hugo Boss Leather Watch, Common Sons Cardigan, Lomography Fisheye Camera, Voi Fairisle Cardigan, Rotary strap Watch, T-Shirt Store Iphone 4 Case, Storm of London Bead Necklace, Fred Perry Wallet, WESC Headphones, Adidas Originals Watch, Ted Baker Wallet and Cardholder Gift Set.
