The big thing in fashion this past week was the Paris Fashion week, the greatest and more international (for me) of all fashion weeks. This time I was surprised to see a lot of this winter’s trends returning for the summer as well, we saw a lot of leather (even fur!), a lot of black and dark colors, even really “heavy”, winter-ish textiles. Many shows went the minimalism way, with strict structure and variant shades of white, red, blue, khaki, and nude and others suggested some really bold colors, such as orange, electric blue, yellow, etc. I loved the fact transparencies were included but in unexpected ways, I loved most of the floral and spots (plaids and stripes were a hit) patterns, the color -blocking thing that was more than existent in the shows, the cropped shirts that many designers suggested and matched with literally everything (from low or high-waist skirts to any kind of trousers) and the glossy-metallic effect, predominant in many shows. I also love how they actually can reinvent and evolve this feminine- masculine style each season and turn it into something amazing (best thing for me: the jumpsuits of the season)! And last but not least, as I am a pretty romantic girl, I was really exited to see a lot of lace, ruffles and long dresses (and skirts) coming back for this spring-summer!
Well, these are just the observations I made, I am not an expert and I am surely not trying to analyze the trends of the season, I will just post my favorite looks from every show and let you make the commenting..

More to come later..
Up to now, which one do you like the most? What do you think of this winter mood that “flooded” the spring-summer collections? (I’m starting to believe that it is a marketing thing, as they have to propose styles and clothes for people who have winter in the summer as well! What do you think?)
